I was sending photos like this to everyone when I started writing Nightmare in Silver. There is something uniquely disturbing about abandoned Amusement Parks.

American Red Cross Clubmobile girl, Alice Felty, on duty dancing with Pfc. Sam D. T. Coats, Raleigh, N.C. 1945. Clubmobiles visited Allied camps and airfields, comprised of three female volunteers, built-in doughnut maker, 50-cup coffee urns, paperback books, and the latest records.
Legendary photographer Nick Knight has recently released a new series of prints that have been ten years in the making. The compositions reflect Knight’s fascination with botany, and are being shown at Show Studio’s gallery in London’s Mayfair.
